RgHotelView is an internal automation tool built and operated by Reisegiganten to publish the company's own hotel and destination marketing videos to YouTube channels owned and operated by Reisegiganten. It is not a public-facing product, has no external or consumer users, and is not distributed outside the company.
RgHotelView is run exclusively by authorized Reisegiganten personnel, from internal company infrastructure, to keep video publishing consistent across our markets and to remove the risk of manual upload errors (wrong branding, wrong channel, inconsistent metadata). There is no public sign-up, no end-user accounts, and no consumer-facing interface.
RgHotelView uses the YouTube Data API v3 with the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope only, to upload video files
to the following Reisegiganten-owned YouTube channels:
The only Google Account data involved is the OAuth authorization needed to publish videos to these company-owned channels. RgHotelView does not read, collect, or process personal data belonging to YouTube viewers, our customers, or our website visitors. The video titles, descriptions, and tags it generates are built from Reisegiganten's own internal hotel and destination content (hotel names, facility lists, destination names) — business content, not personal data about any individual.
OAuth refresh tokens for the four channels above are stored in Reisegiganten's internal configuration database, access-controlled and reachable only by authorized personnel and by the RgHotelView tool itself. No Google user data is copied to, or shared with, any third party or external system.
A stored refresh token remains valid only until it is deleted or until access is revoked. An authorized Reisegiganten administrator can revoke RgHotelView's access at any time from the relevant Google Account's Third-party apps & services settings, or by deleting the stored token internally, after which RgHotelView loses the ability to publish to that channel until re-authorized.
RgHotelView's use of YouTube API Services, and any data obtained through them, complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including the Limited Use requirements) and with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
